I agree, some people in general don't want to get mixed up in danger. You just gotta make the right call and say is this worth it, could I possibly get stabbed or shot? Always evaluate the situation then react accordingly. That's what I'd do.

If it were me. I'd be a bit confused for a sec, but once I realize that person is a thief I'd stop him as soon as he tries to flee.

It looked like the person at the end was going to attempt to intervene. But yea, the person standing next to her before she gets mugged, just walked away. Probably thinking, "aw hell no, that shit ain't happening to me!"

Lol yea.. That guy walking toward the perpetrator was too slow--then again.. his sluggishness resulted in the criminal getting hit by (what seems to be) a subway train.
