Good OTC metal polish for exhaust tips?

What over the counter products do you guys use? Are there automotive-specific polishes, or do you usually use a product meant for general metal cleaning/polishing? I really want to clean up my exhaust tips before the Buschur Sport Compact Shootout this weekend!

Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish.

That stuff + a little bit of elbow grease (a lot of elbow grease, actually) on my Greddy SE exhaust for my 08 STI:

Half of the canister polished

Half of the exhaust is polished

Done

I like Eagle One Nevr Dull. Use the wadding to polish and then buff with a microfiber rag.

Mother's metal polish... if that leaves a bit of "haziness", finish it by using some Mother's Billet polish.

+ 1 on the Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish.

But I also use a little Meguiars Scratch-X on a damp microfiber to give them a good shine. If diluted a bit with water it's just the right amount of abrasive.

If you're really cheap, most toothpastes will work in a pinch...

I've always liked mothers. Don't get the blue stuff... I can't remember what it's called, that stuff STINKS and mothers does a better job.

With any metal polish be prepared to keep polishing every so often to maintain the look, they tend to oxidize over time.

@infinite012 nice work on that muffler
