No you are perfectly fine. That is why I like this forum. It's not bad. I have been debating on getting the Perrin/FA20 CAI or the TRD intake. The only idle issue I have noticed is the one that has plagued this car in general. I have had it on for so long I don't really remember what the stock car drives like and what the difference between the two are, but I do remember when I first installed it the sound was amazing and there was a slight difference in performance. I just enjoy the sound of an intake. But like your exhaust, it'll be based more on personal opinion (in my mind).

I apologize, I must've confused the "MSRP" number with the street price. Oopsies...

Greddy Evo 3. I do not regret purchasing it, and as mentioned I love that it is a JDM 70mm piping.

I have the EVO 3 and I have to say its been a nightmare, Jeremy @ft86speedfactory matched a price for me off the net, but when Greddy drop shipped it the box it came in was pretty destroyed. All of the flanges were bent, (that cost me to repair) the hangers are set up wrong, the cans sit right up on the rear hangers. I chose this exhaust for future development reasons. I can't say that I am overly impressed, and if this is a reflection of their products, I don't think I will invest much more from Greddy.

Man that box is way beat up. Mine sits stragely on the 4 rear hangers as well, but it looks correct and all the pipes lined up even though I have an aftermarket Full Blown turbo kit/downpipe and JDL overpipe/midpipe. I couldn't be happier with the fit on it considering.

Wasn't the evo 3 having issues with rusting? Or was that an HKS system I saw. Regardless, look into the steel quality before you commit. I admit I was deciding between the evo 3, the hks spec l, and the Perrin resonated. Went with perrin and I am very pleased.

Any exhaust I chose to go with, I'll be buying a can of Corrosion X and dousing my exhaust in it.

I have been driving with my EVO 3 in the beginning of March where there is still some salt and just checked it today with no rust. I do plenty of car washes so I think I'm just lucky

I have a 06 RSX type s, with the greddy Ti-C. had it on for a little over 4 years now, and shows no signs of rust. I'll be sure to take some precautions as well with whichever exhaust i choose to go with.
