They changed the "countermeasure in production" table to "1) Increase of clearance for sub-chamber fuel passage; 2) Shape change of plunger stopper." So I wasn't too far off. Anyhoot, I'm still going to get the revised TSB accomplished on Monday.

Also, P/N 17555AA040 (Gasket, Fuel Pipe) has quantity of 2 in the old one but only 1 in the new one.

More importantly it seems like there's nothing to "fix".

I got my BRZ back in Spetember...no crickets. I thought man I don't know what everybody is making a big deal about mine doesn't have crickets. 2700 miles later...crickets. Man is it annoying. At least the only time I hear them is when I am outside of the car.

When I see at least 10 people confirm the chirp is gone with this revised TSB, I'll consider bringing my car in for the pump with the new O-ring. For now, its not hurting anything.

Probably the water vapor in the Ethanol.

I haven't had the chirp since I started running 92oct E0.

0 ethanol is hard to find in a lot of areas. I personally would have to drive 30 miles to a station in a small town that is ethanol free.
