CA-FI Dashlinq in STOCK SIZING AVAILABLE!

I know there has been alot of discussion about android headunits here, and some may be better than others. I ran a Ca-Fi unit in my old car (MS3) and had great luck... awesome fit for an OEM replacement and the hardware worked good as hell. The guys there are decent to work with too.

That said, I'm not sure if everyone is aware... but they have a version of the Dashlinq that fits in our stock opening without need of an adapter for double din. This is a full 200x100mm toyota specific unit. Also, has regular volume KNOBS!

It is a few $$$ and a tad more expensive than the double din unit at 749, but probably worth it for that more OEM like look.

http://store.ca-fi.com/index.php?rou...product_id=273

I have one on order that is to be delivered soon. I'll post a review once I get it with pictures.

BTW I have no involvement with CA-FI other than being a customer.

FWIW, my ca-fi unit broke and I had to fight with them for a refund. I do NOT recommend.

Not saying thats a possibility, but I ran my last one for over a year without issues.

Since I have not demo this product at any store and this is some thing I concern about. I've been seeing cheap no name brand of Chinese consumer electronic products in the after market around the world for too long since the 80s/90s. Everything you name it like from china town street ! This new era of electronics with "smart" phone and this type of "smart" electronic device is no difference. You think it has good fancy cool feature but it just a 5 buck value again ! Man this thing could remind me like some guys carry a bag of Chinese iphone for 20 buck at some of the parking lot . It does work but a move on for me.

Yea, luckily, I've had great luck with the chinese Ca-Fi knockoffs. Even got a capacitive one that runs Torque now that it's rooted. Cost 1/3-1/2 the price.

But I know what you mean.
