Just rolled the dice and bought the quad cat back off ebay for $360. Used Best Offer. Started with $350 but they all declined it. Next i tried $360 and Bingo! I will update the thread once its installed. Thanks

i will say its pretty loud. i cringe when i first start it up in the morning, lol. unfortunately no dynos that ive seen. and i cant justify spending the 200 it costs to dyno a car here, just to find out my car is as slow as it feels, lol. too many other goodies id rather spend 200 on.

haha yeah i thought so but i wasnt sure. yeah im diggin the sound of this, especially for the price. the wife would disagree though, haha. butt dyno shows some improvement on the top end, but my butt has been known to be influenced by sounds from time to time.

Troek, did you install the downpipe also, or just the cat back? Just curious.

Where are your wheel chocks or other form of restraint? Would hate to see your pride and joy roll backwards
![]() Sorry to sound like a nanny, but working on a minesite kinda ingrains these things in your mind ![]() EDIT: wish I had access to a ramp like that (or a hoist, not fussy) Last edited by BRAWL; 05-16-2013 at 12:04 PM. Reason: Jealous of the ramp |

Get the round 2.5" inlet/outlet universal Varex muffler from XForce in AU. Fashion a 2nd center section of pipe to replace the front piece of the cat-back where the resonator is located. Butterfly closed means really quiet operation; butterfly open should sound just like it does now. This is my plan once the warranty is expired and I pick up a full Borla exhaust with EL headers. |

That is slick, but not cheap. Costs more than the whole exhaust!
