Look closely, see something that makes you feel unsafe? I do.
How old are these wheels?

I'll let you know after i wash my wheels... At the rate i was going, i did about 56 laps on the track with my wheels plastidip. Below is a picture of my car after my first session on the track. After the track day, the fronts now look like the rears do...all black from brake dust but there is no bubbling and my wheels didn't go up in flames. I'm not too concerned if the paint became brittle because i enjoy the color and i can just use a plastic scraping tool to take the rest of the plastidip off if it has become brittle. In the end, all i have to do is respray them. There barely any prep btw, remove the wheel, lay the wheel down on cardboard or stand them up vertical, spray, peel away off the tire, done. Plastidip comes off the tire really easy.
(Wheels are different color because i was testing out a light bronzing effect...in the sun it has a lot more gold shimmer)

Time is irrelevant. Time-used would be quantifiable as these are not on a daily driver.

I think those 2 wheels were probably 20-40 "sessions" old. Also I can't verify if that damage/cracking was caused by some contact with another car or any one of several dozen "offs".

By the way, this is the 4th time I've disposed of wheels (and these actually didn't belong to me, even though were run on my car).

Enkei RPF1's: Already illustrated
Falken Hanabis: Stress cracking on spines, was on 3 of the 4 wheels when I caught it.
TR Motorsports C1: Bent 6 of these on 3 seperate occasions. 2 offs and 1 contact with another car.
Motegi (unknown name): Slid off track during wet qualifying, car was stopped by a boulder that tore through the wheel splitting it in half. Still made the race! These were really strong and really heavy wheels too.. still busted!
