That's certainly a well executed setup.

No no no. It goes: Boost BRZ, Gets hit/hits another car on track and calls it a "fender bender", Spins a rod, puts car on ebay for $60k, and then gets Farah to drive the car which he calls him out on how it was running poorly.

Does anyone know if any of the kits, turbo or sc, are seeing sub 5-second 0-60s on pump (preferably 91 oct) gas?
Anyone at all? It's all I want to know... ![]() ![]()

with sticky tires, a hard launch most turbo kits are going to do that.

Tough crowd. Would be nice to hear what was going on with the engine though.

Very simple and a secret that none of the turbo kit manufactures and tuners are willing to admit or share as they all want to be first to solve the issue,....this car was designed to be a sports car that gets good gas mileage,..the fuel system/lines etc. was not intended to run the volume that is needed boosted,...yah you can up the pressure but it needs volume to run boost say 15psi and above (guesstimate +/- a few psi and if your using pump or E85,..every application is different) What your hearing with Mr. Farrah is a lean condition, and it comes and goes depending on foot position on peddle and where the engine revs are,....my car does the exact same thing running at 18psi boost,... but will be solved very soon with a new customized fuel system that allows this engine the volume it needs to be boosted using Full Blowns fuel rails pressure regulator and customized lines. It means more investment if you want to go big with this car,...stay at 10psi and below you should be fine stock. Also what should be noted is the Crawford car horsepower numbers are crank not whp....

1) How much fuel flow do you need through the rails? 2) How much fuel can flow through the OE rails? Do you have answers to these two questions? |
