Anyone else annoyed by getting a ton of automotive surveys after buying a BRZ/FRS?

Thank you! I also agree that it's disrespectful of them. But what's even more disrespectful is the fact that I called and asked them to be take off their mailing list, and they still keep sending me that exact same survey.

I just did it online in about 15 minutes, haven't received it again since.... But then again, I was really bored that day.

The more annoying thing is the XM Radio... Those guys called my work phone (No idea how they got it, must have been the dealer that gave it to them) 300 times. I finally blew up at the guy and that stopped the calls.

You knew what you were getting right? If you wanted cheap AND horsepower you might have been better off with something else like a 10 year old Corvette, Mustang GT, Camaro SS, etc etc.

Everyone (on the public side at least) involved in building this car said it had enough horsepower. So I'm telling them no, it doesn't. It's not like I bought a Genesis Coupe 2.0T and then complained about lack of power in a survey, all the while there's the 3.8 V6 option. No, here there is no option.

Part of a survey's purpose is to tell the manufacturer what the people want and how they can improve their product. Well this car needs more GD power.

I mean I scored it 10s across the board in the handling department. But the car's an absolute dog with the AC on...really infuriating.

I don't see the big deal. You do know this is a totally new platform and they want to know customer feedback, right? Generally I'd throw them away, but I plan to fill them out with more details because it'll make the later versions much better

The one I took for Subaru online was pretty poor. You could tell it was just their standard survey. Some questions even ask if their AWD system was one of the reason you bought it. There was also a lot of Subaru-ish kinda of questions if you know what I mean.

So you can't make your own judgement call on reading the horsepower / torque numbers yourself? When you look at a Civic Si (which is simplifying here but for all intents and purposes a FWD of an otherwise comparable value/straight line performer) do you think "man I bet that thing is an absolute rocket!"....? I bet not.

And not to beat a dead horse, but wasn't there an article *sorry, can't find it* where the chief (or one of the lead) engineers himself suggested that if you wanted power that perhaps you should look at a WRX STi?

Not trying to be a jerk, but I find it silly that you're complaining about something that you should have full well knew BEFORE you bought the car, and now you're complaining to them about it. Perhaps you should complain about not liking the color you chose?

they are attempting to ''wear you down" and get you to consent to the survey!
tell 'em you will be happy to fill out their survey,when/if they compensate you fairly for the time spent.

I think ive gotten 3 too. they started about 3 moths after my purchase and stopped about 2 months later.
