Japan uses the RON scale for fuel. Our 93 AKI octane is just about the same as your 98 RON.

I'm sure Visconti has some tricks up his sleeve to making that sort of power on pump gas. As Charged said, with some additional mods, you should be able to reach you goals.

yeah, ive never been able to find out exact octane numbers at the pumps over here. just simply says high octane usualy, or "f1". i know some stations have 100 octane but im not sure wich ones. i would like to get a map sent from the states, tuned for our gas, because tuning in japan is unreal expensive.

Doing some research, it appears that the F1 grade is 96 RON. Thats probably around 90-91 AKI.

I forgot to add that F1 is at least 96 RON. So it could be on par with our 93 AKI depending on the gas station.

Looks like he has comparable mods to the Houston/Phastek guys, so the dynos they posted should be pretty similar.

Whenever you lift off the throttle do you hear a lot of blow off sound that is continual?
Like a like pressure being vented until you get back on the throttle?

Did my install today was an absolute nightmare. I wont go into that but wanted to know if it should always be making a constant blow off sound off throtte?

You sure its a venting sound and not a blower whine?

Nightmare you say? If you need any help out, send me a pm and I'll help get you sorted.

As far as the sound, anytime you are not under hard acceleration, the bypass is open, venting air. Figure the valve stops venting and closes at roughly 3/4 throttle and above.

Mind posting what you're talking about in your build thread? I'll be doing my install by myself shortly

I installed the blower one evening and the rest the second night. it does take a few hours but just go slow. I did mine by myself through the night because I had to be at work the next day. try and do some "pre assembly" getting the washer bottle sorted out mount brackets "loosely" on intercooler read the instructions over. If you get stuck feel free to message me. or @Brian@Vortech we would be glad to help!!

Thanks,

I PM'd you, need a replacement part ASAP, several hose clamps that were missing, question about SC oil seepage from top near plugs. And a host of other things I wanted to constructively discuss in regards to documentation problems.
