Surprised that it still has Subaru printed on it. Guess TRD still uses the stock plastic mount and bonds the carbon to it. Looks very "aero"

Genuine Toyota "Snow" mats from Japan

Got these this morning. The stock mats the Australian 86/BRZ's come with is total crap. Ordered these through Jesse Streeter, took about a month to order(from JP to him), took about a week to ship(from him to me). Highly recommended merchant.

These are GENUINE Toyota(JP) floor mats, has the Japanese writing on it too!
Another nice touch is that it has the 86 piston logo on both sides. JDM Kwalitee!

Some piccies as always.

Passenger Side

Passenger Side - closeup of 86 piston logo

Passenger Side - underneath, has nice little rubber nipples to hold the carpet in place

Drivers side, has a nice heel area. I kinda wish it was about 15cm or so longer. I will probably get some clear or black PVC plastic to lie underneath the top part so that sand doesn't become embedded into the carpet.

Drivers Side - closeup of 86 piston badge

Drivers Side - some Japanese writing. Genuine JDM stuff right here!

Instructions

Something from Rakuten.co.jp

Japanese Invoice

Installed TRD Blues(pads)

After months of having these TRD Blue brake pads, I finally decided to change them over. Pretty straight forward install. I mainly watched this youtube video and figured, if he can do it.. I could too lol

[ame]http://youtu.be/yYnQxEjGq2A[/ame]

Some pics of the new TRD blue brake pads installed.

I was going to go out for a test drive to bed in the brakes and to check my tyre pressures. Unfortunately my car has been up in the air on jackstands(I'm repainting my Michelin tyres properly this time)the past 5 days and the battery went flat. I'm using a super lightweight BRAILLE AGM battery. Remembered I had a trickle charger(which has been UNUSED since now) and hooked it up to let it charge overnight.

I love the Michelin Pilot Super sports and used them on all cars from benz's to super cars and i wasn't sure of how they'd look with white markings on them for my frs, but you my friend are going to make me buy them instead of some crappy tires

Ti Lugs

@86ing: I got the bodykit from Import Monster. From memory front and sides cost me $1575 including freight to Perth, WA.

Ordered these two days ago. As I noticed my WedsSports duraluminium lug nuts were showing signs of wear(wheels have been taken on and off almost a dozen times - due to modding, since I've had the car).
M12x1.25 open ended.

I'm paranoid the nuts will wear/shear/break so I'm going for a pure Titanium lugnut.. "TiKore". These guys make Ti nuts for European cars and high end exotics too.

Also picked up a portable/rechargable jump-starter booster battery pack thingo from MALZ in cannington. Only $60!!!

Also, I ordered another type of tyre pen off ebay

The Edding 8080 tyre pens aren't that good when the tyre heats up/flexes. Probably better used on the edges/outline of the tyres. I ordered some oil-based sharpies(silver colour) after seeing these pics on a 350Z forum:

I'll probably do them at the same time when I changeover the lugs to TiKores.
Also finally had my brake fluid changed over to Motul 5.1. RAC track day coming up this Sunday, hopefully it won't rain!
