Yeah, I was hoping people would keep predicted price point in consideration which is why I put the NA versions as options.

If any FI version were to be released, I want to see it WIDEBODIED ala STI.
WHAT PRICE WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO PAY? I'd want it priced below $30k and even then I'd be debating. $28k and I'll jump on it if the overall package is sublime.

This. HP costs money, how much money do you have.

Yeah, that's pretty much the layout I had in mind as well. My only real concern was with having enough room behind the blower for a non-restrictive elbow/tb.

That's why you can have both an N/A version and S/C STI version for those wanting to fork out money for it.

Works for STI...

Also, it would be a serious 370z competitor.

Depending on the track, I think the BRZ will give a 370z a run for its money (driver dependent). Of course straightline speed, the BRZ will have nothing on the more powerful 370z.

you can be quite creative with the packaging. the TRD tundra SC does it like this:

which is basically this but turned upside down so the intercooled manifold is on top

Supercharger please! I like the simplicity and linear power delivery trait with a supercharger running a modest amount of boost. Give us 5psi, +35-40 hp and a warranty and 50 state emissions. Let TRD sell it aftermarket for $3k (with installation) as well!! So the early adopters don't miss out.

Later on, offer an 'off-road' upgrade: aggressive crank pulley, belt and re-tune (and fuel pump if need be). Make an extra 25-30 hp (up to 270 hp!) and no warranty coverage. Charge $500-700 for it with dealer install (or let the buyer haggle that into the price ) Maybe an air to air intercooler for $1k as well? C'mon TRD!

I just hope there won't be too much heating developing under the hood. That's one of the reasons I don't like turbo's, they need good heat to function properly. I hope there are some engine/transmission/oil cooler TRD accessories offered as well, for the track day sluts

didn't Toyoda already say there was to be NO turbos?? Why are people talking about turbos if Toyota doesn't want them??

The BRZ can easily beat the 370Z around a race track. All you have to do is stay behind it and pressure the 370Z until either his engine overheats or his brakes fail. Shouldn't take more than 5-6 hot laps
