I beat a turbo'd black (or asphalt?) and another one I missed seeing. There was a white BRZ in the field but I guess they didn't enter for judging as it was bone-stock.

There were a few custom FR-S' that were invited but not in the running for showfield judging - a tan one, a turquoise one and a red one. I'll try to find photos of them - my camera crapped out on me so I have to wait for my buddy to give me the pics he took on his DSLR.

JDP CF Front Lip (from genometuning.com - FT86Club vendor)
Rexspeed CF sides (from genometuning.com - FT86Club vendor)
westcoastprojects CF rear lip spoiler (directly from WCP - also a club vendor)

I found the Seibon and ARP front lips (ARP has a flat splitter but I wanted more shape than a flat CF plate) to be too deep (low to the ground) the JDP is quite flat and wraps up on the stock bumper lip, whereas the others seem to be added on below making them 1/2" deeper at least - and with my coil-over drop at almost 3" I need all the clearance I can get

Some more fun in store for this year at Calabogie Motorsports Park just outside Ottawa, Ontario.

Here are this year's MCO lapping events:

• Friday, May 24th - 9am-5pm full track, this day will likely be an HPDE school with full day instruction (classroom and in-car) at no additional cost, newbies are welcome!

• Monday, July 8th - 9am-5pm - we will be using the stadium track, short loop. This will great great for our cars.

• Thursday, August 22 -5pm-7pm evening session on full track

Plan your schedule for the year and come out!



Bookings will be done online (hopefully soon) through Karelo.com website (type MCO to search for our events).



Ask for me at the track, will be happy to help out or take you out for a hot lap!
