I've got an Australian GTS86 and a few things aren't perfect...
* Stock 6" door speakers are rubbish (all of them are...but the 6"ers could have been a little better and made a huge difference to the overall feel of the car (I don't need deafening doof doof, just clear decent sound)
* 1st gear is sticky (not as easy as I'd like to engage)
* Head unit should list tracks (like radio stations) in USB folders
* Not enough noise cancelling on mic makes handsfree un-usable (I have to shout...so I use a BT earpiece instead...fits nice in the center console)
* All USBs are underpowered (my phone went flat on a long-ish trip while plugged in all the way). So now I use a 3A usb car adaptor...seems a waste when there are already 2 USBs in the car
* I was disappointed to find water inside the door when I upgraded my speakers (I had just got back from a 600km road-trip in the wet)
* It's annoying to need to use 98octane or higher (sometimes 98 isn't available in country towns on long drives)

Things I thought would annoy me that don't:
* suspension isn't too firm for long drives
* cabin noise at speed is less than I thought

I love the seat warmers first thing on a cold morning.
...let it rev

This has been a long standing issue with charging smart phones via USB ports - the phone sees the connection as a computer USB port, and charges at 1.5amps. You could modify your USB cable so the phone will recognize it as a charger and charger only (ground the data pins), but if you ever play music from you phone over USB, you will need a different cable.

Wow 49 pages of hate....

I think a lot of owners need to trade their FR-S in on something else as it looks like there's a lot of owners that's not happy with their cars.

Really this thread is getting old trade your FR-S in if you dislike it so much or stop complaining about everything geez..!!

Did I just say that..?? I sure did....

One thing I want to add... haha

When I roll down passenger door's window from closed, it makes slight thud noise. I tried to find where it's coming from but I have no idea.
I tried cleaning the weather strip but no luck. I have tints, but it doesn't affect on driver's window though.

Alright... fwiw.

-Rear view mirror. I don't want or need the "lighted" features, and it's so big that it eats up precious visibility in a car with some poor sight-lines already. I want a compact, sports car mirror!
-As mentioned up thread, the cheap, painted interior silver is very easy to scratch. I don't mind some patina in my car, but not easily done within the first week of driving.
-exhaust note; fixed. :-)
-The valet button in back has been accidentally activated three times in six months-bleh.
-The biggest gripe for me is the head unit. As others have mentioned, the Blue Tooth is seriously unusable. I have experience with six other Blue Tooth equipped vehicles, none of which pull this constant disconnect/reconnect/notify bull crap. The GUI is less than ideal, and the lack of pre-outs for the audio is another miss.
-I absolutely love the car overall--the above stuff is secondary to driving anywhere!
