this will come in handy because I can load up the Series 10 with all my mods while I still enjoy my Raven for a while haha. fresh new TRD parts on a Fresh new FRS Series 10. gotta love it lol. I can wait, my parts are not here yet.
I'm from South Ozone Park in Queens,New York. I do not have a FRS, coming from a MR2(SW20). I can't wait to own a Series 10 since I've been looking to buy a FRS for a while. Good thing I waited so patiently. How are you enjoying you Raven by the way?Any mods?

You sir have good taste in cars well done. Yea basically anything lightweight and rwd is a plus for me. Yea I've been waiting for a car with that formula to come to the states and the FRS was right on the money. Hopefully I have as much fun with mines as you do with yours.

I just seen you were from Cali where the majority of the Series 10 will be distributed so you should be okay just check large volume dealers in Cali
I wonder if dealers have actually already been able to place their orders in. I just texted my sales guy, who's already taken $500 deposit on a 10 Series 4/17, said that they haven't even gotten a chance to place orders yet. Man, maybe it's because I'm in BFE. I'm gonna be hella dissapointed if I can't get another M/T.

Btw, how do you know the breakdown of the M/T vs A/T??

When I bugged my dealer for VIN and ETA today (he thinks maybe tomorrow when he receives the first June allocation of all Toyota/Scions), he said that pre-orders were so strong that Scion will only fill current sold orders and then allocate the rest on overall sales performance. Some dealers were gaming the system claiming phantom sold orders.

I'm getting their one and only and they're a big metro dealer. I guess that means buyers will have a better shot finding one at a volume metro dealership vs. an outlying dealer.

He didn't know the M/T vs. A/T spread, but said if it's like current allocations it'll be 70% A/T.

Better make your move if you want an M/T Series 10.

yeah! the japanese are getting smarter.they are now sending over a ratio of 70% versus 30% (at to mt),because thay are thinking if "more " at's are available, people will buy them first rather than wait for a mt to show up. this allows them to "move" slush boxes, that might sit on the lot for a while.

what do you mean by "fill current sold orders"? As in already put all the money down/ financed it already? Prices for these things just got released.

Right. Many here, like me, ordered well before pricing was released. Those are considered "sold orders" since there's a name assigned to a vehicle in the Toyota/Scion distribution system that must match the buyers name on the delivery record submitted after sale. If it doesn't match there are consequences like a debit on the next FR-S allocation, reversal of incentives like cash, trips and spiffs and a visit from the District Manager.

I'm guessing mine is "sold"? My sales guy said as soon as they are allocated one then they mark it as sold. They can't be sold until they are allocated. I'm guessing they are betting on the part of being allocated one due to their sales of the FR-S. I hope they have a high enough volume compared to the big guys.

Yea, they took my deposit and wrote my customer number on the sheet. I have the first right of refusal and it's also refundable. Not sure if that's the case for everyone else. But if I get this baby in, there isn't any refusing. I already have the Asphalt one.
