the big test is whether it will fit 6 snowboards with bindings. 158 or smaller

Not weird at all. It's essentially a 2 seater. In that light, it's a lot less messing around folding down the whole back then having to do it twice in a car that doesn't have as much head room (in the back) as a Yaris.

I'm keeping the seats down. No way will I tolerate passengers that will complain about legroom.

Couldn't you accomplish the same thing by just not taking extra passengers...?

I honestly don't understand the desire of some of you to drive with the back seat folded down? IMO it just looks like you were too lazy to fold it back up.
