This is so true though. I used to work at an office supply store making minimum wage at about twenty hours per week. My own business was making me about eight times what I made there, which is how I could afford the car. When I got the car, my managers joked that they were giving me too many hours if I could afford that, but my hours were consistently five-ten hours per week from then on so I just left.

My neighbor saw it over the fence for the first time. He said "Is that what I think it is?"

Some good first hand empirical evidence today on chicks vs the FR-S. I had parked over at Pacific Mall (Markham) and my tint is 15 in the back, so you can't see if anyone is inside.. so anyways these two girls walk by and start talking and pointing at the car and shoving each over really excited.. the car was parked so I press the breaks and when they notice there is someone in the car and briskly walk off covering their heads in embarrassment.. funny stuff.

I got the Maserati reference for the third time two weeks ago, followed by a short conversation. Not much before or after that though.

This would be day 3 for me, and boy oh boy, I feel like a fucking rock star... There have been a lot of heads turned in the last few days, which is believable because this is (almost) as flashy as it gets in Sudbury. Of course there are many cars superior in every way to mine in town, but by far the vast majority of vehicles here are either trucks, or not so fine cars, so this car sticks out like a sore thumb at all times.

I suppose the best reaction I keep getting to the car is people's shock at how my car came in at under 35K, and how most thought I was driving something worth 50K +.

Took my little brother to the mall today and got a few looks on the way there.

I parked at the end of the row and as I'm getting out I notice this guy sitting in his t-top pontiac a couple of spaces away. He called out to me as I was walking past and asked if it was fast. I told him it was quick, but not as fast as something like a mustang or anything like that, but reiterated that it was quick. Then he asked if I could feel any difference with the way the horizontally opposed boxer ran. I wasn't sure how to answer that one so I just said it ran awesome.

Before I walked away he also said he loved the way they looked and that they kind of looked like a Porsche. I thanked him and got a thumbs up as I left.
