It doesn't take much to see that this was understeer. OP even said what happened.

Well it doesn't look like a total loss. Hope the op learned his lesson and didn't get hurt.

to add, I wanted to know if the tires were worn and caused the understeer/crash. I had worn mine out considerably since January and got new OE michelin primacy's last week to make sure my front tires were grippy enough and didn't understeer.

Understeer or oversteer, it isn't the fucking car's fault if someone can't turn correctly and safely lol...

Based on your photos, I would suggest it is under $10K unless you bent the sub frame. Something does not seem right though. You do not want to claim that a squirrel ran in front of you and just pay the insurance deductible???? You also said "If I am allowed to keep driving", this suggests that you are under parental control and maybe something else distracted you that the parents may not like.
Either way, It will have to be towed to get an estimate. Good Luck. |

Despite what folks in the thread are saying, as someone who has experience with a similar crash (details here and it cost around 9k all said and done), you're looking at a fair chunk of change to repair.
It appears that your headlight and hood are intact, but that's only cutting 1500 or so off the price. These cars are still pretty dang new. There's no "OEM equivalent" parts, and everything for these cars come from Japan. Not cheap. The only option you should be considering is going through your insurance, that's why it's there. Best of luck. |

and so it starts....
All jokes aside glad your're okay and even better no one else was injured. I'll try to suppress driving more aggressive until I upgrade the suspension/wheels/tires. |
