The massive amount of alcantara give it a very 70's custom van look...

@Scenic Driver Looks Great! Glad you enjoy it and Thank you for those photos, I know it could not have been easy to snap such good photos of the headliner inside the car.

Cheers
Andrew

The headliner and boots ruin an otherwise very tastefully done interior, it's clear it was done solely for cost. Based on the continuity of materials & textures with the rest of the interior I doubt whoever designed it would choose the OEM materials.

Alcantara is like CF or anything else, some like it, some don't.

That's why I won't do the pillars or visors.

Your setup is definitely the closest to what I actually want

Only difference would be where the dash panel flows into the cluster, I would much rather for the seam and double side red stiching to flow into the same seam/double sided stitching of the cluster hood, which follows the original line of the dash panel, but that is just me
Here's what I was able to snap - hope this helps.

I was almost swayed by gen to do alcantara but since I won't be doing the whole dash in alcantara , bonded double stitched simulated leather for the panel it is.

Placed my order for some leather goodies. Will post pictures of them when I get them since I do not see a ton of pics for the genuine and simulated leather pieces installed.
