In the past we've just used your standard FRS/GMRS radio you can pickup at any retail store. If it has subchannels even better.

Hey Chewie4299, what time are we meeting and where specifically?

FYI, there's a McDonalds with a commuter lot in the back (on the way, 0.4 miles north on Route 32 from exit 8):

+ bathrooms
+ lots of parking
+ food
- crappy food
- left turn in/out of lot (but no biggie)

Anyone needing to fuel up might want to hit one of the stations just south from exit 8 first (there's a Shell just to the right after the toll booths).
