Yes just adhesive. There are two plastic alignment pegs but they are not pinned to car so they should not impede you from taking the badges off.

I bought an extra fender badge and cut the pegs off and replaced my rear Scion emblem with the fender badge. That along with removing the FR-S emblem really cleans up the rear look of the car.

The Front emblems are actually pinned to the car. Be careful when pulling them out.

Ok, one more concern - when heating up the front emblem, I am worried that I might damage the clear bra. Anyone had any problems there?

I have a clear bra on my car, and no you don't have to worry as long as you concentrate the heat on the emblem, but I used a hair dryer, I probably wouldn't recommend a heat gun

So as stated earlier I cleaned the look of the rear of the car up by debadging and just putting the piston there.

I did not mess with the front yet. I really have not found anything that sticks out making me want to put it up front especially since the front is kinda PITA to do.

For those of you that have rebadged the front, what are you putting up there?
