Has anybody guttered out their car yet?
I wish to remove my cars carpet and rear seats without a box cutter if possible. Any suggestions? Preferably pics

"Because racecar" ?
Rear seat back comes out with 2-4 bolts (12mm or 14mm) Rear seat bottom comes out with two 10mm bolts right below the inside knee area, involves some strange lifting to pull the seat bottom (two pieces) out of the hook towards the back of the car. Remove the front seats, 4 bolts a pop (probably), unclip airbag/sensor clip(s) Remove center console by taking out the cupholder and the vinyl piece below it to expose the two phillips head 10mm bolts. Refer to the JDM kneepad install DIY for rest of the info on this. Pry out inner door sills + kick panels (+ B pillars?) That should pretty much have your carpet exposed to pull out at this point, not sure how it works with the dead pedal. Put the front seats back in and you're done. You've successfully removed a measly 35 pounds at the expensive of having a ghetto looking interior on a new car. If you track it, every bit counts and I understand. But if you track your car you probably already have the knowledge to do all this. It should be pretty easy and straight forward honestly. Interiors aren't difficult to tear down. Expect ridiculous NVH, I drove around with the rear seats out for a week and it got old pretty quickly. TL;dR buy a lightweight battery and save weight that's high up and in the front of the car.
