Guilty as charged. :happy0180:

If the dealership in Hoover is good, then I'd just stick with it. Might be a pain, but someone messing up the car you love is much worse.

And Scott, what happened to you on Sunday? Missed you at the dyno day.

Car isn't running right. I was hoping to have the issue resolved by then but I just couldn't get it nailed down. I may be calling up Track Masters this week and see if they can strap my car on the dyno and see if they can figure out why my Fuel trims and A/F Ratios are more unstable than Justin Beiber!

That sucks. Have you done any mods that could have caused this?

It is most likely the Injen Intake. But other possible causes are due to all new LED lights causing voltage irregularities in the chassis, fuel pump malfunctioning, bad gas from Sam's club early last week. The dealership is stumped so I'm not wasting my time with them.

The only reason I haven't removed the intake is because the car ran perfect for nearly 3 weeks after installing it. Problems started after the autocross test and tune.

I'm driving the car to Memphis this weekend to visit some family so I'm hoping the long drive will do it some good. We'll see.

I don't think it's the intake since like you said it worked fine. I'm leaning towards the LEDs since those have different voltage and amperage requirements. I'm wondering if there's just some grounding issues as that can cause problems like this.

Bad gas could be the culprit. My last car had a bad tank of gas in it from the Kangaroo on Jordan near UAH and for the life of me had no idea what was going wrong with my car. For the 2-3 weeks that gas was in my car I had a tough time before I realized what was causing it.

LED's don't really draw a lot of power unless you have some kind of custom lighting setup that I'm unaware of.

Thanks for the tip about the Kangaroo! I'll be sure to stay away!

I agree its not likely the LEDs. I was only thinking of them because of the dramatically lower resistance they have could be causing a near short-circuit condition that has been known to wreck havoc with ECUs and sensors.

Because I have changed so much so quickly on the car while autocrossing it at the same time, its hard to be certain of anything. I'm sure it will sort itself out during my drive to Memphis this weekend.

That's weird. I have almost 6000 miles and I only get gas at Sam's Club (across of Landers Chevrolet and Subaru). In fact, I'm getting low on gas. I've been using their 93 octane since I had my Cobalt SS, back in March 2010 and never really had any issues with their gas. Any good gas recommendations that don't break the bank? I normally stick with Sam's Club because it's the lowest for 93 octane.

Also, I've read other threads where people said their problems originated with the air intake. If it's not too much of a hassle, I would put the stock one back on and see if anything changes.

It feels like FR-S's are popping up like crazy in Huntsville in the last month. I keep seeing them everywhere. My friend's mom even has one now.

Will do!

Can't miss mine. LED DRLs and the only single-exit exhaust in town!

I had to be in Atlanta for my wife's college graduation.

This is the second event that I have missed this year and I certainly hope its the last!

I did check out your times and you're looking better already!

Definately understandable. I have family that would kill me if I missed their graduation for an event.

And im definately attacking the cones harder than before. run 3 should have been my fastest, but I took two key turns terribly. run 6 was smooth and controlled, but not nearly as agressive. I feel like I could have shaved another second off my time if we had another 1-2 more runs.

I hope to see you out there in three weeks!
