Interesting, what's a set up like that cost? Something I should look at... I live and work in impractical areas so it'll suit me.

I get this question a lot and its hard to answer, only because it depends on what management system/air struts you go with.

Airlift struts - 995 a set (need front, rear, so 1990) Airrex also has struts available but they are 2350 I believe

Management system - You can opt to go for the eLevel system (which is a height sensor based system - 4 sensors are installed in each corner) but that is around 1800 last time I checked. I have the AutoPilot v2 which is a pressure based system (no sensors in each corner) and thats around 1200. Mine was cheaper because I already had parts of the system from my old sti. I actually had the elevel which is great, it does all the thinking for you, but I was hesitant to drill into a new car to install the sensors and theres more involved with installation on it, so I decided to try out the v2. I like both, the elevel is a bit easier to use but I like the fact that the v2 has a controller that you can see PSI in each corner, its great for tracking down leaks/monitoring (elevel has a controller but doesn't have a display for pressure, you would need to install gauges).

You could do a basic management system with paddle valves for like 500-600 bucks, but you need to mount gauges to monitor the pressure, and also mount the paddle valves somewhere. Wandering on the VW forums, a lot of people prefer this setup because there are less working parts which means less leaks, less worry, and you don't have to worry about an ecu crapping out on you and getting stuck lol.

It all really depends on what you want. It could cost up to 4.5k, down to 2500-3k.
