The r154's have been known to hold 700whp stock. Possibly a clutch. but, its a wayyy better trans than a w55. People search for the r154 if they are boosting a 2j or 1j if they don't want to fork out 6k for a new v160/161. Besides, you can get parts all day long from Marlin Crawler.

You won't break a marlin crawler r154 with anything under 4 digit numbers and if you do stop driving.

Kickass! I've always wanted to own an MKIII, but I've always found Mustangs to be easier to work on, cheaper in the long run, and to have more power potential.

premature optimization. has anyone even broken a stock one yet at less than absurd power levels? certainly not at the power levels most people are running with fi. save your money and have fun with it, if it breaks, replace it. if not, don't worry about it. no need to go looking for dragons to slay (or problems to throw money at).

Oh, and your twin turbos probably won't fit unless you used some remote arrangement which nullifies twin turbos' advantage in the first place.
