Maybe now the number of Stockton/Modesto owners is higher we could convince them to come our way for a HWY 49 drive @BigFatFlip @PMok @MyRx?

The drive meets are also a good spot to check out exhausts. If your willing to travel there are plenty of spontaneous east bay meets. I know I plan on trying to put together a drive in movie night for the F&F premier, but show times are out for it yet (May 24 is release, in San Jose or Concord)

I agree with you Finch that there are some wonderful roads in the foothills. We went for a great drive a few weekends ago out in the Georgetown area. Nice windy road, no pot holes and only a dozen cars seen in the 2.5 hours it took us. When done, we were 23 miles from Tahoe.

I have no problem driving out to the bay area. I lived there most of my life. Been in Stockton 13 years only.

Nice looking pipes and I love that they are locally made. They sound nice to. I'll look into them...

Being from the Bay Area myself, I can honestly say that the crime isn't so bad here. Yea Stockton has it's problems, but it's all relative. I live in the Lincoln area and it's nice. North Stockton is nice too. Spanos area. Good luck with the Job...

Thanks Eric. How often do they have this autocross? How did you do?

Best place to live in Stockton? Umm.... It's not the best town, IMO. Live outside of Stockton and commute in.

Thanks. I like to keep my business local when possible...

Check it out. But sometime it can be dead. I drove by this past weekend and there were only a few low riders there, so I left. So yeah, drive by and see how it is. Some Friday nights it's good and some not so. It's a hit and miss I guess. But I look forward to try and make it to some of those little meets in the bay.

You live in the Lincoln area, cool. I also live in the Lincoln area too. What color is your FRS?

They have weekend events on Sat and Sun about six times during the year. Check out the website links on www.sfrscca.org , click on solo, then Sacramento or Fresno links to see the latest from these Central Valley groups.

I was on stock tires (all season bridgestones, not primacy's). I had a 54.9, then a 66.xx (failed pedal dance 'ice mode' disaster run), a 54.4, and finally a 54.1. It's about my 4th autox with this car and I am finally learning what to expect, how to drive it best, and where it will spin. Because I was comparing/sharing/bench racing times with Bryan it kept me from having fun with a drift run but I had a blast running and gunning with him:happy0180:
Really it was one of the better times (no pun, but yeah, pun intended) I have had with this car. I would say that any twin owner who wants to learn car control/limits of the vehicle should come out to any autocross. Post it up in the NorCal thread and there will be more than one who shows with another twin to ease the pain of the learning/shyness curve.

I went to the Stockton autocross on Sunday in my fr-s.
It wast first time EVER driving at an event... Stock tires, and I went from a 66 down to a 59 during my 4 runs, never hit any cones and had a blast! I wasn't anywhere near competitive but I learned more about my car and direction of the upgrades I'd like to head in.
I was the only fr-s/brz there, got a bit of attention. I was also one of 3 women in the mornings runs, which was a little intimidating.

Overall, it was a blast, hopefully I can make it back to more.

I'm originally from Lodi, just outside of Stockton, and would recommend living in Lodi and commuting in. Also, I'm coming up to Lodi tonight to pick up my FRS tomorrow from Geweke! Cant wait!
