Didn't want to have the same car as a million other people.
The FRS interior is awful. |

I chose The BRZ mostly because of the interior, the FRS interior is really ugly.
I love the Subaru Brand The limited trim extras are very nice. I could have had an FRS in Miami, but I drove a BRZ down from NJ just to get a BRZ. |

Several reasons:
-I've owned 5 other Subarus and I love the brand -World Rally Blue is my favorite car color -I wanted the in dash Nav -I wanted the HID -I prefer the frontend of the BRZ (FR-S is too busy looking) -I would have had to wait for a car if I got a FR-S (got my BRZ June 2nd)

The BRZ drove better to me. I tested both and the BRZ was easier to control in a drift.

HID's are normally at least a $1k option. Since the BRZ is only about $1k more, then its a no-brainer especially considering all the other extra's you get. There are many features people don't realize that separate the two cars. I only posted the few that made it quite easy for me to decide which to pick.

^ Not only that, but when dealing with a car that has regular halogens as standard equipment and HIDs as an option, the halogens usually aren't all that great, especially if they're projectors. I've mentioned it numerous times (and at least once on this thread), my first Evo IX didn't have HIDs while my second one did, and it was a HUGE difference in terms of how well they lit up the road. After that, I pretty much knew that I'd always get HIDs if it were offered on whichever car I'm looking at.

Pretty much the same reasons as everyone else.
HID's Navigation Blacked out headlights LED DRL's And because it's a Subaru ![]() The lights and Subaru name are what attracted me the most. I always bought aftermarket HID kits, and having it stock makes it that much easier. The front end of the FR-S with the lights on make it look like your average car, with the yellowish halogen bulbs and orange DRL's. But the LED DRL's and boomerang make this car really stand out. Nothing against Scion owners, but I tend to prefer the Subaru crowd myself. |
