My alignment was completed today.
-1.20º camber in the front, -1.90º camber in the back, along with 0.07º toe in on each side in the rear. Plus, my new tires and wheels came in! Once I get the tires broken in we'll see how well this setup does! |

Does Koni only include one goofy-ass adjuster per side (f/r)?

Yep one came with the front shocks and one came with the rear. One would have been fine for all four since that's all I can reach at once

Not sure if you guys can answer this, but does anyone know if just installing the shocks will lower the car a tad (.5" or so)? This was seen with installing the Koni's on Miatas. I was just wondering if it's the same on the FRS.

Just got these installed last night. Did the Koni, Rce Yellow springs, White line C-mounts for extra camber and caster. Had camber bolts already also have bushings but will do those some time in the future.
Alignment is looking like -2.3 in the front and back for camber. I have slight toe out up front and slight toe in. Put everything to full stiff this morning for my drive to work will be dropping them back to full soft. The drop looks great with my 17x9 rpf1s with the 35 offset. Will post pictures later.

I don't get it. Shocks don't adjust height, spring does. I'm assuming there are shorter shocks for miata and they would have to compress the stock spring more?

It has to do with the gas pressure and shock design between the stock Miata shocks and the Koni's. Just wondering if the FRS shocks are the same way.

I don't think anyone has done just springs, then added the shocks later (or added the shocks on stock springs, but there have to be CS people doing it...). But based on the results from lowering my car with springs and shocks, I would say not to expect the same results as with Miatas.

However with the right tires I would expect a sexy ass look on the car.

Been hearing a weird clunk when I back out of my drive way in the morning. its the only place I can get it to happen. And only in the first drive of the morning. Never again for the rest of the day. Feels like something is not tight but I can't get it to happen any other time. Its driving me nuts. Going to put the go pro down low and see if I can record the sound.
