I got the rears flipped yesterday when I got my Nvidia Exhaust installed. It's a lot quieter now.

So perhaps an ET42 wheel would be perfect?

+42 would surely have more room between the tire and strut hat, but it would also poke out more past the fenders too. Problem is, 17x9 RPF1's don't come in a 42 that I have seen, unless possibly in a 17x8.

I've only seen +45 or +35 in both 17x8 and 17x9 for RPF1's.

Looks good. Is that a straight 8 in the background?

I'm trying to confirm the answer to this question on other threads. But I'm guessing that the ET45 won't clear with a 1" drop using eibach springs and the factory shock?

Springs won't effect clearance at the spring seat, so to be safe you should count on needing 3-5mm spacers.

Great wheel and tire setup!
We will have our car on 17x9 +35 with 245/40/17 RS3's. We've been selling tons of the ZII's here, dying to try them. |

Some coilovers have springs that have smaller diameter springs than stock which allow you to recover space from smaller springs. On spacers - I would try the 3's first because that way you don't need to change your lug spindles. |

ENKEI RPF1 17x9 +45 245/40/17 Hankook V12
here they are
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() when the wheel is at full lock, the rim does hit the tie rod. just like a very intelligent member pointed out to me earlier. i decided to go with this and just live with it. one other member here has the exact same setup but hes on coil overs and i think he said he has no issues with the tie rod. that will be my next move. BTW, im on eibach springs with a 1" drop Last edited by loogs; 06-05-2013 at 08:49 PM. |
