for a back road warrior like us :P, u don't need anything fancy ... I think SPC will do the job, I installed them on my car with those bc br coils....still need to get those rear toe arm to make them at 0 ...so I don't have to change the tires that often
![]() my alignment was set a 1 degree front and 1.7 rear , loves the handing ...the front still need to play around with the dampening setting tho ... a little bouncy |

Thanks to eikond to posting his specs.
I've been running through this thread trying to find different tire widths on the 17x8.25... When I looked at Vten's results, the OEM tire just has a bit too much stretch for me. I'm trying to figure out if I can get away with just going to a 225/45-17. I would rather not go with 235-40-17's because of the pricing and lack of tire choices in that size. RWD_FRS has posted some good pics of what the 245/40-17's look like and I'm inclined to go with those, but I was hoping to see some alternatives. Does anyone have pics of a 225/45-17 on the 8.25" XXR rims? Also does anyone have pics of the 235/40-17's as well just for a comparison? Thanks guys.

I think that eikond has convinced me that a set of RCE Yellows is the way to go to maximize the stance I'm looking for. These last few pics he's posted are just awesome. I'll probably get the tires done over the weekend, and hopefully the springs in the next few weeks,.

For what it's worth.. I went with the RCE Yellow's for the ride and handling characteristics. They are (in my opinion) the best you can do to improve the suspension w/out spending $2k on a set of good coilovers. At least that's what I've read in just about every review. You'll love how they feel a little firmer, but seem to have more travel. It's a big improvement in the confidence of the handling. Also.. the drop was just right for me. I couldn't stomach going much lower than this.. I hate being scared of scraping on every little hill or driveway, etc.. So they .8" drop was nice enough to improve the look and get rid of the 4x4 wheel gap, but not so much that I'm replacing my front bumper every year. So if the ride height is your goal, I think you'll find that the bonus of a much improved suspension makes it a great purchase. |

If someone should be not sure about getting flat black or chronium black, let me help you :-)
Same car, same Dimensions (8.75*18/+35), same Location, about same light. However, the flat black do shine more in real live than on pictures, so add about 30% more "visibility" to them in real live. First 3 Pictures are chronium black, last 3 are flat black
