Carbon Vinyl Dash Panels

Wrapped my scion frs dash today in 3M carbon fiber vinyl. It look much better than the OEM's fake carbon.

Let me know what you guys think?

Looks good, but the OEM stuff isn't fake carbon... It's more of a fish-scale look. Look at the instrument cluster and you'll see a more detailed pattern. It extends to the exterior panes too (fog covers)

Oem is the "t" design for toyota, same pattern in the gauges, hvac, and the reverse lights

Looks pretty good, the pattern is only off by a hair at the seam between the two pieces

From my experience, i would say its possible, as long as u r able to space them just right when they are off the car to wrap them, and then reinstall carefully as one piece. However, should you ever take them back off for anything, ud run the risk of messing it up over time. Also there would most likely be a ridge in the vinyl that you would clearly see, unless u got real fancy and actually molded them together as one permanent piece.

You could do it in one piece with no seam. I kept the seam to make it look more original.
