No, the grey wire by itself in a plug is only for the e-brake. Follow the other posts for the VSS cable. (I'm sorry I can't help more as I never did it).

yeah... i just cut the grey..but the VSS still blocks out the video while driving..but at lease it comes back on at a stop lol..since that's really the only time u can watch the video lol.and the music still plays..so i think i'll be okay with it until someone can get around the VSS..i personally dont want to add a switch so i'll leave it as this..

i was using the video as Music Videos in the car so.i still got sound while i'm driving so i dont mind.

One question - I tried this on my 2014 Toyota 86. I just re-grounded the grey wire and it works for both the DVD and Navi. However I still have the e-brake signal on my dashboard. Just wanted to find out if this is the same for all of you that tried this?
