And I guess this is a general tint question, but let's say you get your windows tinted, and you get pulled over and get a fix-it ticket, so you remove the tint to get out of the ticket. If you want to reapply the tint, will the shop, or whoever you got the tint from, charge you the full price for applying the tint again? Or does it get covered under warranty or something?

A dealer is going to do the same film tint as any shop, many actually outsource the job. If you peel the tint its full price to get it redone no shop will give a discount because it's the same amount of time for them. It'll be slightly cheaper since you wouldn't have to re do the rear window

No car comes factory tint, the so called "factory tint" is just another tint company that does it for the dealership.
And no if you peel the tint there is no warranty .
You do take the risk of a ticket when tinting fronts in Alberta.

Not always true, some cars such as my jetta came with factory tint. The glass is smoked and its indicated below the glass serial number that it's tinted.

Are you sure that was tint? I thought Vw's come with glass treatment .. Hence the serial numbers

Not a tint, a treatment. They are polarized, it's a UV treatment . You can see in the picture

Yeah it's the same UV treatment , I think that's like 99% tint, if you look at the window with polarized glasses they look funky!

Tuner Works in CGY has a pretty huge selection of wheels they can order for you but they're bit more $$$$$
