FRS for me and for pretty much the same reasons as everybody else. If I have to pick one reason then it must be the front of the car looks so much better than the BRZ.

I am now leaning towards the FRS...if and only if I can get the optional the dual HVAC (for the better look), push button start (i got to have it, its just way cooler), HIDS\LED DRL's, oh and frameless mirror (why you take this out Scion???? this was what was cool about the interior but I know I will be able to add it unless your mirror has homelink then I am cool with that)

I am even ok if I can't get the dual HVAC but I can get the HIDS\LED DRL's and push button start.

Hey if the FRS is $21K plus options...you can't go wrong. I will get the Toyota 86 Steering wheel airbag cover...and it already has the 86 badge on the front fenders...so turning it into a real Toyota 86 is going to be real easy.

Just let us choose each option individually....

Yeah that picture of the middle console is trash. I'd get the Brz if it looks like that too. It shows how much Toyota cares when they rename it to Scion. Scion's first impression is to show us trash, just means they want to give us trash, so we can buy into hype. And that loyal fans will defend them. That look shouldn't even exist even on a low trim. If the rest of the world can't stand for this, bite me Toyota. Thats just extremely bad PR. Thank you for making America worse.

For me trash is trash and I will tell it like it is. And if someone wants to defend trash they are trash. That type of look is something I'd except from the 70s. Now where do i find my cassette tapes to go with the FRS? hah!

FR-S base 6MT in Lava.

I have no need for the extra cost, weight and complexity of dual HVAC/heated everything/AC/Etc. I can add in my own aftermarket radio/touch screen for a fraction of the price that Subaru offers, and that's all I really need.

I love a nice, basic interior in a car designed for sporty driving. It helps that it will be several grand cheaper than the 'base' Subaru as well.

BRZ as of right now. If the GT86 was to come, I'd buy that..I'd pay $6K more for it than the Scion..I would never drive a Scion.

They are... just let them dream, reality will hit them come Detroit when Subaru announces dual zone HVAC and seat heaters only in the Limited for $27k+. I don't even want to think how much extra it's going to be in Europe, Japan, and Australia.

Scion FR-S =21k
Subaru BRZ=24K

Air Intake=200$
Performance Exhaust=850$
Crutchfield Head unit =400$
Performance Chip=300$
Performance Wheels and Tires=1500$
Other or Extra Money in pocket=750$

All this before you even reach a base BRZ's price. But this pricing is not confirmed, i'm just using an example.

I'd say BRZ, but it all depends on the price. Only difference is wheels (aluminum vs. steel) and nav and Scion still comes 1,500 under, I will go for Scion. My image of Scion is that the direct competitor of the brand is Kia Soul.... a car driven by a bunch of hamsters..... That's the only issue.
