Front KNocking Noie and Gear Lever rattle

Hi Guys

I have had this irritation since i got the car. Tee gear level rattling as well as a knocking noise coming form the from of the car over bump roads.

Even whist having the clutch in and braking getting heavy feedback on the clutch pedal.

The first time i reported it Toyota said nothing was wrong.

Yesterday i took it in and low and behold, o we know what the problem is.

Toyota send a directive that the GB mounting needs to be realigned as well as the lever tightened.

Picked up the car and all seems right in the world again, car going smooth and enjoying it.

Something to lookout for guys

i have exactly the same problem.
Took it to Toyota twice and they say there is nothing wrong with it.
They cant diagnose it on a test drive coz the roads are smooth'ish around the dealer. Seems to only happen on rough roads

Thanks. I have a similar problem.
Thinking of going to Randburg Toyota then for my first service which is coming up soon. I'm going to mention that they have a look at this for me as well. is it merely "GB mounting needs to be realigned as well as the lever tightened"
Also, by lever tightened, do you mean the gear knob being loose or is this someother lever internal to the car that needs tightening?

thanks again.

I find that when I kick in my clutch I sometimes get like a rattling sound from the front area of the car. I wonder if its the same issue?

Did the rattling in yours go away after driving for a while @Naughty
