My buddy has these local for sale brand new, dirt cheap. They're XXR 522 17x9 +42mm in Chromium Black. I plan on a mild drop, and think they look perfect. But after searching, found the wheel to weigh 22.8lbs a piece. That would be a +2.7lb gain per corner. Does anyone know of a super light weight tire I could run that would help keep the weight down? I don't think I'll get them, but just wanted to get an opinion.

One of my peeves... Please, when you post your pics... can you include the wheel size, offset, tire size, and any other pertinent info as far as the suspension/stance.

This isn't just you and I'm only singling this post because it's the latest, but this is going on through the entire thread.

I really hate having to look over a couple dozen posts backwards or forwards to see what's up. Since this is a big thread, it will really help people who are browsing through and going "Dang that looks good..."

Just a peeve of mine.

You're right.. I had that info posted earlier in the thread, but nobody wants to go paging through to find it..

So here goes:
XXR 530 18x8.75 +33 Chromium Black
225/40/18 Pirelli P Zero Rosso
Lowered on RCE Yellow springs (.8")
-1.2* front camber with adjustable camber bolts

I know this isn't the right thread but I have been scouring this thread nonstop for the past few weeks. The XXR 527s in 18x8.75 +35 and 18x8.75 +20 in chromium black are hard to come by in the time that I need them by (May 23rd) I have looked into the XXR 535s in the chromium black but that have different availability of offsets in 17s. Would a +35 offset all around with 7.5 up front and 8.25 in the rear give a staggered setup?

No need for a staggered setup you could run 17x8.25 +35 all around easily

here's mine dropped on BC BR coilover with the swift springs

17x8.25 +25 all around with stock Michelins tires.

front is on max drop, rear still be able to adjust another inch ...but will only have about 3" ground clearance on the lowest point .
