i thought about that too but remember this is the ECU, not a few wires. id rather keep as clean as possible and reduce any chances of error

I would think a good number will want this. But to make it easy for everyone just make it an optional add on to the sytem. My 2 cents. Thanks for all the hard work.

A jumper harness, from what I've used in the past, is only a few wires. If that's the case I'd rather just wire it myself. If it's more that that, I'll gladly pay a fee for the convenience of a plug & play device though.

True, jumper harness could be a portion to a whole part of the ecu, lets wait and hear Johns opinion

Agreed. His response sounded to me like the wiring wasn't a very big deal. He's very careful with his tunes and if it was that difficult, he would never let an amateur do anything that might jeopardize his reputation.

Would like to see wiring procedure before deciding. Optional seems like a good way to go.

I believe this answers the wire harness question. It likely contributed to folks wanting a refund as they weren't comfortable soldering and shrinking... I would suggest optioning the harness for folks that don't want to mess with it, especially if there are any wiring differences between FRS and BRZ.

It depends on how much cutting/splicing is required but I would be happy to do this to save $200 as long as its just a couple wires and the instructions are good.
