Shit I missed the karts and koffee thing, I got planted with a lot of honey do wedding stuff and didn't get a chance to leave.

You didn't miss much. I had a lot more fun at the first one when we had like 7 or 8 cars there.

The problem is that the crowd sucks.. too many people with too much crap.. no place to park. They need a way bigger place to host it.

I'm not sure I'll go again.


I think we need to do weekly meets at the parking ramp on woodward that Mac was talking about.

As for the lack of parking, it wasn't nearly this bad last year. I beleive this is the 3rd year doing it so it's likely it is just getting more popular. I was talking with one of the guys that runs kart 2 kart and he said that he was probably going to send out a parking diagram for next time. Like, trucks and "rally" cars, park on the grass, Mini vans and such, park on the other side, etc. It would help manage the lack of parking.

Was in my discovery mode on Orion Rd until I spotted Raven Frs near Orion and Adams @ 7:00pm! Pretty good rd towards Orion lake! Not sure if it was same Frs spotted yesterday on Rochester rd.

I second this! Woodward is very active and a lot of variety in cars and always cars cruising the strip and the parking lots. Seemed like a cool environment.

We meet almost every Friday night, and go to a lot of races and other events. Next on the calendar is the Sport Compact Nationals at Summit Raceway (May 26th)...bunch of us will be going down for that...I'm going down for the day (leaving REALLY early Sunday morning - event starts at 8am in OH), but most everyone else is getting a hotel.
