So all these forums you guys are members of. You guys scare me and give me hope in what Hachi and the 09'-10' (especially 09') members have done for this forum. Hopefully a majority of the member here don't have narrow minds, immaturity and supposed penis size of over 9000.

So far (before the wave of new members) I've enjoyed arguing great debates and random off-topic threads; although, recently the influx of new members poses an issue... as I can see.. 3/4 seem to be pretty cool and the 1/4th being a bunch of "towels" and future 16 year old ricer-children who are over their 20s.

  • Some of us are interested in this car because we cannot afford the more expensive ones like BMW 1 Series M, M3, Cayman, 370 Z,...
  • Some of us are interested in this car because we want to have fun all the time on all raods. To have fun we need to push a car to its limits, and it is not really possible to do this with a 911 GT3 or an F430 on open roads, the roads we use mostly.
  • Some of us are interested in this car because we are not the best drivers out there, and we would like to improve our driving skills, so that one day we might drive our dream cars (Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini,...) as they should be driven.
  • Some of us like this car because we like "Tuning", and in our eyes, among the new cars out on the market, this one has most potential.
  • Some of us don't like this car because it is not enough powerful, and thus not enough fast on straight line.
  • Some of us don't like this car because it is not enough luxurious and doesn't have good finish.
Whoever we are, we like one and the same thing: A PIECE OF METAL ON 4 WHEELS.

Why make war, there is enough for all of us, for all of our tastes and needs.

What defines us, car enthusiasts, is not the type of car we like, but it is the fact that WE LOVE OUR CAR.

Actually yes, and it is called M3. Followed by WRX STI.

Now to say the truth, this is what I think (also many other) when I see your list. You surely think of some other car. This is subjective, also OVER-ALL can be understood subjectively. Over all can also mean all seasons, and for winter AWD would be better. See what I mean?

It depends on where you are
I cannot justify buying a new m3, nor would I want to (e46 is my fav)
I don't like the wrx because while it is a GREAT car it is a 4 door sedan (same goes for evo)
I don't need AWD for winter, because the coldest we get here is like summer in Finland lol
It depends on person to person
I wouldn't mind a 370z, but they start at 70k here, and that is too much for a car, no matter how much I love them.

How are e92 M3s out of warranty?

I would think the base LS3 Corvette, at 45k, being quite bulletproof and obscenely well performing, would be the ticket for (relatively) cheap, fast, and reliable.

I think every car forum is going to have its fair share of internet crusaders (read idiots) as members, and I'm sure this one will be no different later down the road. We can only hope that the demographics are heavily skewed towards the rational and mature posters who can appreciate a wide variety of vehicles and the mods can keep the idiots under control.

Personally I never understood the whole "why would you ever buy a _____, they totally suck and don't have enough ______" mentality. Everyone has their own preference and needs for a car, and if you don't like a certain car you don't have to purchase or drive it. (The only exception for this paragraph is the Prius )

*runs and hides from all the size 9000 penises in the room*

As an alternative to the corvette, may I present the Miata with some forced induction?

Edit: Or a Caterham/clubman type car.

As a cost equivalent alternative to a C6, how about an Elise? Simple Toyota engine, simple interior, not much to go wrong.

Unfortunately I REALLY do not fit in one.

I think the 2012 Mustang is pretty crazy, a bit big/heavy

The V6 that is, or the 32k V8?

I can see you eye to eye on this.
