Perrin LCP

So I got my Perrin light weight crank pully in the mail today I installed it per perrins directions and for some reason I am getting this whineing noise it's only at idle as soon as it rev's up past 1000 or so Rpm it goes away so am letting it idle and then I notice the pully is vibrating back and forth a bit so I'm going to take it all apart again tomorrow buy a new torque wrench and do it all over again

Replace the bolt. Go get it at the dealer, better safe than sorry.

We'll took it off and put it back on retorqued it and the noise is still there every once in a while it's defentily not coming from the crank almost sounds like a very small vacuum leak or something the noise is coming from the left side and is directly over the fuel injectors. The noise is only at idle rpm as soon as any gas it applied to goes away. Gonna drive it around a hit and see if it goes away

Stories like these are what made me shy away from this mod. It seems like more and more people are having problems with new pulleys. And if you care about warranty, the dealership won't be very happy that you changed out a pulley.

And by the same token more and more people are not having problems.
Has the OP read this thread?

15k miles on the perrin pulley...no issues at all...and it was a simple install. OP..did you try simply putting the old one back on to see if the issue was indeed the pulley?

You most probably will be fine. My comment was because re torquing that bolt might become a liability. This is a "plastic region" bolt, so it was intended to only be torqued once and thrown away if it ever needed to be removed.

A plastic region bolt means that when torquening it, it deforms and elongates. This deformation means that its properties have changed and would not have the same strength if it is used again.

That is why I didn't even ask what was your mileage, my issue was with toquening it a third time. At the factory and now you twice.

That thread is great wish I read that before installing my LCPL'S. so the wobble I mentioned in the Original post was just the tensioner pully. Everything was flush when I put the LCPL'S pully on and it's running fine now no noise so I dunno what was up
