As of today, I have enough luggage for my gf and I to attend a wedding, including my rented tux. Ballin.

I can get me, my wife, and our son in the FR-S with 3 7 foot bass rods. And that's without even putting the back seat down. I wouldn't want to do it for long rides, but it works fine for short trips...

Wait, without the back seat down? Bet you're bending those rods up a bit! Oh well, they're made for it. I put my seat down and run them through - they basically tickle the passenger's leg and sit tight against the back of the trunk. Other than the passenger whining I can drive like that forever!

Currently lots of bubble wrap and cardboard boxes for my girlfriend to pack up her apartment. Once its warmer it'll just be a pair of board shorts and a beach towel in case I get the urge to head to the ocean front after work.

Very nice! Good to see that the FR-S can handle 4 tires plus gear you need for an autox/track day.

I used to do a lot of autocrossing at the Q with BMW. :happy0180:

What am I packing in my trunk?
Absolutely nothing
Well at least it looks empty.

That's since I removed the very intrusive full size spare wheel which some idiot decided we have to have in South Africa, and replaced it with a space saver (Marie biscuit) that I stole from my wife's Impreza. Hope she doesn't get a puncture before I find her a replacement...

A DIY cover now hides all the crap, and makes the trunk useable as... a trunk. Currently down below is the spare wheel, a picnic blanket, two emergency triangles, a buffing mitt, and all the crap ex the glove compartment - which is now 100% empty and useable too.

^^^^ that's a good idea. I hate taking out the entire cover when I need access to spare or other tools.

I just carry a small box containing a quart of oil and few general tools.

Since I just drove across the country for a move...

1 x 27in suitcase
2 x 21in suitcases
1 x military duffel bag
1 x 156cm snowboard
1 x small duffel bag
2 x misc small boxes (like shoebox size)

I still left the passenger seat all the way back and open.

Yup...shove the butts...haha...butts...shove them up into the drivers side back window, then bend the rod tips over the front seat and then have the wifey hold them...like I said, works for short trips if we take the kid. When it's just me and the wifey we just drop the back seat and they go in through the trunk...
