Whiteout headlights

I was wondering if anyone had tried "white-ing out" their headlights instead of blacking them out? Or any color except black. I know phastek has a kit for it but I was wondering if anyone did it with their stock lights. I would imagine with white headlights on a whiteout fr-s would look pretty sweet and not kill the high beams. Someone should try it.

If you paint the high beam reflector it will still kill the high beam haha.. since the chrome reflects/directs the light~~

Well I mean it wouldn't completely kill it considering that white is a lot more reflective than black.

depends if its flat or gloss. Im pretty sure if its flat white i would be barely useful to the point where it doesnt even really help~

Well the chrome wouldn't stand out as much with white anyway so just leave that part alone.

The white would probably just "appear" brighter, but the output of light will be no where as clear as the mirror-like chrome.

I've actually been thinking about doing this. If I decide to get an angel eye or retrofit kit, I probably will paint the housing white.
