Thank you! Your reservation request is currently pending review. You will receive an e-mail confirming your reservation details have been received and another e-mail once your reservation is approved. Please allow up to 72 hours for event organizers to process your reservation request.
It has been a long while since I've run with CDC. When my registration is approved do I get access to the bar codes that I need to print out?

Also, when am I assigned/ when do I pick car numbers?

They can print barcodes for you at the event. Also, if you're not a member with a permanent number, they will assign you one for the day. If you become a club member, then you have permanent number. Likely you'll have to use what they give you, so I'd bring painters tape.

Ed, if you're listening ( ) I have magnetic numbers of 1,4,7, and 9 (or 6). Getting assigned a number of a combination of those would help prevent wasted painter's tape (which is good for the environment, etc).

Something wrong with the turbo install, or just prep for something else?

Just lots of tuning to get done, it's a complicated setup with the turbo size and large injectors, I want it to be perfect before I take it out and beat on it

Woohoo can't wait til tomorrow!

So I've never done CDC autocross. How do these heats work? Is this like heats 1 & 2 are AM sessions, heats 3 & 4 are afternoon session? I'm used to a two heat, two sets of runs system.

Also everyone's free to come annoy me for ride-alongs, I like having a passenger lol. This is mainly because I don't want to feel bad about nagging other people to be their passenger. :happy0180:

CDC does it differently, and it is actually really nice because you don't have to stand on your station for 2 hours. There are 4 heats, each of which has an A and a B group. Each heat is self contained, i.e. A runs and B works, then switch places, then the next heat. They run heat 1 through 4 in the morning, and then again in the afternoon. The way they stage minimizes the amount of transition time between heats.

I find it more enjoyable than SCCA/AI style where it's two massive groups, but they can get away with it because it's less cars and no classing stuff to worry about. Find me tomorrow if you have any questions.

4 heats...they split it up A/B for each heat so you dont spend a stupid amout of time working the cource....its a pretty good setup with plenty of time to spectate too.
