After a month I think this mod is one of those FIRST things the car needed. That and a header that kills the TORQUE valley. Those 2 things and WOW.

I would think so, but I am not aware of anybody using these with an AT. I did wonder about the AT software operability with the gear speed changes this modification would cause. I have not heard an answer for that question on this forum as of yet.

An interesting side effect on the MT cars is that the gear indicator on the dash reads one gear lower 4,5,6.

1 = 1
2 = 2
3 = 3
4 = 3 indicated
5 = 4 indicated
6 = 5 indicated

No biggie, just turned this feature off but interesting, it must use wheel speed vs. RPM to calculate the gear it thinks we're in.

I've ordered the 5.125 (which happens to be a Toyota part) and MZ center.
Why would you need to take the matching Cusco (RS) LSD?
I was looking to have a OS Giken 1.5 way one installed.

Because the 4.875 and 5.125 won't work with the standard diff centre.

Correct. The 4.556 does work with the factory LSD center.

After a track day this FD REALLY gets off the corners WELL. The cars that I could "stay with" were impressive. When you dig down and grab a lower gear it makes a HUGE difference compared to before.

When carrying tons of speed if you take the corner UP a gear, the only issue is the TQ dip. Once my header is installed I think it will be very good taking the same corners UP a gear.

Man a 4.88 would be WACKED !

P&L header goes in later today.

I did but its all traffic and or incomplete laps of me doing shock changes and tire temps etc.

I will say that after getting the P&L header installed and tuned that this car NOW feels WICKED ! 2k rpm pulls from ow speed in traffic feel like a NORMAL car WITHOUT the TQ dip. The FINAL DRIVE ,........makes it THAT much sweeter !
