Jkbarnes3, How has this setup been treating you? I need to wrangle up a solution to my FR-S as well and this tow hook idea looks like it would work great.

Looks good.

I prefer to have my bike on the inside though and was pleased to discover my new 23" 29er fits in with the back seats down and both wheels off!

If you don't mind can you post a picture of your bike in the trunk? I'm debating whether I should get a 26" or 29er.

Looks like the best solution so far. We just bought an Asphalt FR-S and it would be nice to haul bikes with it
PS. Nice Heckler!

Great work!
This thread, damn it.

We have a prototype for tires and bikes... have photos this weekend as it is hauling our one lap spares.

Update: This set-up is still working great for me! I have been slammed busy and haven't had a chance to post lately. Unfortunately I just traded my car in on something more practical.

If anyone wants this exact set-up pictured I will sell it for $250 plus shipping. It will include the Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount and adapters to fit the FR-S tow hook holes.

Do you have a status update on the prototype development/possible release date for this?

I still need to cut the tubing down about 5 inches and send it off for powder coat. Feedback?
Can you have more pics of the other tow hook? How you got the pipe/metal to attach to tow hook?

Looks sweet man
