just to clear something up:

STX rules say you CAN remove the first cat. but O2 sensors CANNOT be missing or made to not read correctly (anti-foulers, etc). so to run a non-catted header in STX a person would have to extend the second O2 sensor to go behind the cat in the mid-pipe. please make this an option in yall's catted midpipe.

make the ideal length tri-Y design with no cat. please please please.

Just grab their catted downpipe and ask them to weld a bung onto it. Problem solved.

There is an allowance to relocate the o2 sensor on the header and most feel that allows using the defouler. There is no rule about making it not read correctly. The only rule is you have to use the OE sensors for engine management and can't remove them.

Could the 02 sensor be in the header still then?
