I'm about the same, 1 click up from full back. The seat is really comfy but my knees are hitting the center triangle (upgraded to JPM alcantara which helped a lot).

I think it's just that my legs are too long as my knees are "high". thus heel pushing into the floor.

will try some foam under the floor mat

personally id do shoes and if its getting hot down there adjust the ac to blow at the feet along with the body.

If you think its a circulation thing, maybe consider getting some seat covers that have padding in it so your thigh (where the big blood vessel lives) isnt under as much pressure.

I would not recommend flip flops. They are unsafe. I got my flip flop jammed under the gas pedal once while driving and it scared the crap of me. Luckily I through the car into neutral and drifted to the side of the road and braked. I bought some really lightweight shoes that are light as a feather and have holes all through them so the air circulates well.

Alternatively, if you REALLY need sandal type shoes for your feet, you can wear the ones with the ankle strap, kind of like the gladiator type or whatever it looks like. That will keep your feet cool as well as keep you from throwing your shoes into the accelerator. Alternatively, you can just get Gel-pads like someone stated above.

Did I mention that I drive with sandals so my bare heel is right there on the floor matt

Go get a silicone breast implant to rest your heel on. Find a plastic surgeon that likes cars, they will have manufacturer samples you could talk out of them. It sounds stupid but its the best thing I have found.

This is a well known weakness in Filipino genetics. They don't have the heel strength of other races!

That is almost the craziest thing I have ever heard.

sorry to hear about that..........

this has nothing to do with genetics (I'm not Filipino, 6'3", "Made in Boston") or my love for San Miguel Beer.

IMO it has to do with the design, geometry, location of the seat and gas pedal.

I have 6 cars and 4 motorcycles, the 86 is the only car that provides me with this "experience". I'm traveling now but will get some pics in action when I get back.

was late for my flight so I had to push her a little today. - Love this car!

Right on brotha -- i'm 6'4" about 275 or so. I don't have a circulatory problem, but I know that my tendon that runs to my big toe bothers the hell out of me if I rest my left foot on the clutch too long without depressing it.

I've used them since 2002 and my days of working for a trackday company. I swear by them. Whilst they don't provide the feel you get with proper raceboot they are a good compromise.

I love driving bare foot and I too get a numb heel at times. Actually I just tend to ignore it. I do think your foot get's used to it though and the numbness isn't as bad once you've driven bare foot for a while.
