^ That's the role that the GT-R had in 5, but that race scene is likely going to start 6 and give it some screen time. Maybe 7 (which has been confirmed as happening) will finish that, assuming the BRZ has a similar role at the end of 6.

They probably gave 4 of the BRZ's to the cast members, actors get free shit all of the time. $30,000 cars should be a drop in the bucket to Universal.

Just got back from the premiere event today. I didnt actually notice a BRZ anywhere, might have ended up on the cutting room floor. Or maybe it was very deep in the background somewhere, fun movie nothing groundbreaking but a good way to spend the morNing.
