Hey y'all! Just quick question from the drive yesterday. Does not happen everytime I brake but i get a sudden "dud" feeling during stepping on the brake and at the same time the slip indicator blinks. What y'all think causing this? ABS? I did change my fluids, speedbleeders and brake pads before a track. Then changed back to oem pads after. Does pushing back the pistons of the calipers puts air to the lines and fluids?

it happens sometimes even taking a turn not that aggressive and i experienced it too on the last track i did. Even w/ all nannies off. I remember that you don't really turn off everything if you don't do the pedal dance. So probably you got a point there that our car is really making sure we're safe from an impending doom. But it's kinda of a bad feeling though for me everytime that happens.

My homemade mount keeps the GoPro 3 just inches from the bumper, so yes the proximity of the mic is rather close. Also, I'm using the closed, waterproof backing, with the LCD attached. I'm playing with higher elevation of the mount so not to need all the links on the gopro. The higher elevation is better as the view is not so Formula 1 low.
@tintumz22; check your fluid levels and you may need to bleed. The speedbleeders are a PITA as they still suck in air. When you bleed, you have to apply positive pressure to the lines as you quickly vent thru the speedbleeders. If this may be too much, go back to the factory bleeders. Less pain than the speedbleeders. I had that 'dud' and my lights would flicker. I have a pump to keep the job solo and the keeps positive pressure on the lines. Bleed thru the lines and bleeder while maintaining positive pressure on the lines. This also minimizes the 'dead zone' on the pedal.

Haha Ed. That road should be familiar. We practically grew up on it. Another road that we've posted is Palomares, and yes I remember. Mines Road/130 towards the 5 is still my nemesis. Let's go to Alameda again and use their runway lol haha (don't know if it's still open).

Right? This is how 4 or 5 of us Central Valley folk went home after The Junction, & it is kick-ASS!! We stopped right before the I5 to shake hands & split,& I told the guys I actually thought that stretch was better than Mines Rd!
Its a 24mile stretch according to my GPS which proved VERY useful for leading the pack, after the first few corners I realized I could use it to gauge the corners I was coming into, and select braking/gearing based on what I was seeing.. Anyways,if any Bay Area peeps are coming down to the vall, this is a great way to kill off an extra hour!![]()

We did mention a drive out there a while back with Bass Pro as the meeting spot/lunch. But with an empty second floor, I mind as well buy my fishing license then. I like deep sea fishing and a new line, cod/salmon rigs are always welcome.
