^^ Caffeine & Rides! Yessir, if it ain't pourin' down rain, I'll be there, too. Didn't bother to wash my car this evening so AM drizzle don't matter. Subie group is likely to roll in together like they did last time and rope off some spaces so, if I get there early enough to claim some real estate, I'll put out a half dozen cones for 86 cars adjacent to them. Looks like there will be a few of us there tomorrow! Can't make a sister's run afterwards though. Maybe there will be some others ready to do some twisties w/you. Definitely want to admire that new TRD intake you've got!!! Sweet!

Forwarding a email I received today from a Porsche Club guy on the Vinyard Coffee & Rides -- apparently last Saturday's will be the last one...

Well, sadly all good things must come to an end.

Luis Carilles, the organizer of the event a few years back, received a call from the manager at the Vineyards and she informed him that we cannot use their parking lot anymore. It seems a couple of idiots were "doing donuts, speeding through the lot and almost hit some children". Once again the few ruin it for the many.

At this point we have no other location and as of now there are no plans to find another location for Coffee and Rides.

Thanks to everyone who supported this event and a very special thank you to those who were with us since 2009.

Thanks for the heads up, Mike! There will likely be more "up to date" info on the C&R facebook page as time goes on. Looks like about 126 comments at this point with talk of new locations, etc. We witnessed the Ferrari idiot back in March and I think that and the hot rodding last Sat. was the last straw for the Vineyard folks.

Such a bummer.. I had a feeling the end was near when that douchebag Ferrari guy was speeding around the parking lot the month before last, blowing through stop signs. I didn't see any above-average douche'ery last week, but apparently there was...

OK, I mentioned this a while back on FB and the time is near! Sunday, 19 May, Twisted Sisters fun run. Meet at the Apple Store in Medina at 9:00 am, hit the road around 9:30. I'm thinking early to beat the traffic. Give me a heads up if you'll be there!!

Hoping I can be although I think I may be in Austin for the V8 super cars... I want to get out to the twisties and push the new tires!
